For my Foundation Portfolio for my coursework in year 12, I originally found the research and planning difficult because i was unaware of how much i needed to do. Eventually after a few tasks I got well into blogging my work using www.blogger.com and posting my research and planning on my Foundation Portfolio blog.

The coursework task was to make a 2:00min video of an opening title sequence for a thriller film. For the pre-production I looked into researching thriller opening title sequences to establish what the codes and conventions were for a thriller film. Some of the research i did was looking into a man called Saul Bass who was an American graphic designer and film maker. I looked into films which he had produced the opening title sequence for such as vertigo. From this research i then started planning towards making my opening title sequence with my group.
